About the position:
We are looking for an experienced manager for the newly established position of Rotorwing Line Maintenance Manager, reporting to the Part-145 NP / Maintenance Manager.
You will be responsible for helicopter line maintenance and the day-to-day management of approximately 22 technicians across 8 line stations in Greenland. The role gives you the opportunity to create structure and develop a future-proof line setup in close collaboration with the Rotorwing Base Maintenance Manager.
You will plan, coordinate, and follow up on maintenance activities to ensure that work is carried out in accordance with applicable aviation regulations, company standards, and with minimal downtime.
Areas of responsibility:
·Ensure line maintenance of Air Greenland’s helicopters (H225, H155, and AS350)
·Lead and develop approximately 22 technicians at line stations in Greenland
·Plan, coordinate, and follow up on daily maintenance work
·Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, standards, and internal procedures
·Coordinate with operational departments to minimize downtime
·Contribute to a Lean culture, reporting, and resource management
Qualifications:
·Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to provide direction
·A structured and independent working style with a focus on deadlines
·Good IT skills and experience with maintenance software
·Experience with helicopter maintenance, management, aviation regulations, or a background as an aircraft mechanic is an advantage, but not a requirement
