Flight Operations Engineering Officer

We are looking for an experienced and structured person to strengthen our Flight Operations support functions. The position entails overall responsibility for: Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) on all types, Handling of Flight Data Monitoring (FDM), as well as supporting our Operations Control Center's operational IT setup. The position requires in-depth knowledge of EASA regulations within EFB, as well as an understanding of principles and processes within FDM and genre with knowledge of IT tools used in OCC (Flight Planning / Scheduling. You will also be expected of participation in various project tasks in Flight Operations, as well as possible expansion of the area of ​​responsibility depending on individual competencies.

Minimum requirements and qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of EASA regulations, especially within EFB, dispatch and performance
  • In-depth knowledge of DOC 8168, as well as an understanding of performance calculations
  • Knowledge of principles for safety management and reporting of incidents, including industry best practices.
  • Practical experience with operations control, crew control and dispatch and planning.
  • Practical experience with IT support tools for aviation within traffic management / planning
  • Effective communication skills in both Danish (alternatively another Nordic language) and English - written and oral.
  • Ability to work in a structured and methodical manner, preferably with experience in project management.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, of which at least 2 years from the aviation industry in a similar position.

  • EFB platform for all types
  • FDM platform and data management for all types
  • Support of OCC IT tools, and support operational optimization
  • Handling of tasks delegated by the Flight Operations Manager (FOM) or his deputy.
