Air Greenland is undergoing rapid development and is entering an exciting period marked by airport expansions and increased tourism. We must be ready to seize these new opportunities while staying competitive in a growing market. Our e-commerce platform plays a vital role in this. We aim to ensure an accessible, intuitive, and modern online booking portal that customers enjoy returning to.

As the digital customer journey continues to evolve, we are looking for a Digital Project Manager (Product Owner) with special responsibility for our online booking portal. This role is crucial in ensuring that Air Greenland remains top of mind when customers are choosing their next destination.

The Department:
You will join a skilled team of six employees in the Marketing and Communications Department in Nuuk. Together, you will strengthen the customer experience across our digital universe.

Your main responsibility will be the development and optimization of our online booking portal, in close collaboration with external consultants and agencies. In addition, you will contribute to the development and execution of a dynamic campaign strategy and help optimize online sales, including through our digital loyalty program, Club Timmisa. You will have significant influence, together with the rest of the team and the Head of Marketing, on the strategic direction and activities within e-commerce at Air Greenland.

We are looking for an experienced Digital Project Manager who is passionate about developing our e-commerce platform, with a focus on:

  • Coordinating, planning, and driving progress on online development projects — especially those related to booking flow optimization and customer journey UX
  • Leading the development of the Club Timmisa app in collaboration with an external agency
  • Collaborating with the department on permission-based marketing via the marketing automation platform Agillic
  • Managing tracking and reporting setup (e.g., Google Analytics) in collaboration with our marketing agency
  • Setting the framework for SEM/SEO efforts in partnership with our agency

Qualifications:
We imagine you have relevant education and experience in e-commerce, and in the development and operation of online platforms. You take pride in your professional expertise and seek the best solutions through collaboration. You have a strong project management mindset, a hands-on approach to tasks, and an ability to view challenges from multiple perspectives.

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Strong understanding and execution skills related to the digital customer journey
  • Proven project management abilities
  • Solid experience or education in e-commerce, digital architecture, UX, UI, or digital customer journey — knowledge of Amadeus is a plus
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems
  • Technical flair and solid experience with CMS or basic HTML knowledge
  • Preferably experience in the travel or aviation industry
  • Knowledge of Greenland
  • Excellent communication skills
